Chennai: GV Prakash has announced an update regarding Vijay’s movie with Vetrimaran.

ijay is one of the most popular heroes of Kollywood. Lovingly hailed by fans as Thalapathy, Vijay has a wide fan base not only in Tamil Nadu but also in neighboring states. Vijay was last seen on screen in the film ‘MASTER’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The scenes featuring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi together won a lot of praise and attention, and their combo in the film was widely lauded. The film was one of the first films to be released in 2021 after an extensive lockdown that year.

Actor Vijay is currently starring in his 65th film Beast directed by Nelson Dileepkumar. Pooja Hegde plays the heroine in this film. It is worth noting that the posters for this film have already been released and have all been extremely well received.

It is noteworthy that 3 posters of this film have already been released. The crew had previously announced that Beast would be released on screen in April 2022. According to reliable sources, Beast will be released on the 14th of April, the Tamil New Year.

It was only recently last year that it was officially announced that Vamsi Padipalli will be directing his next film – Thalapathy66. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film will start shooting from the first week of April, according to sources.

Also, the film is expected to be a family drama and that Vijay will NOT be playing dual roles in the film. Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee have been confirmed as the directors of Vijay’s next 67 & 68 respectively.

Coming back to the update at hand, GV Prakash responded to a question raised by fans on Twitter about the movie will feature the Vetrimaran-Vijay duo. He has apparently responded that post Vijay’s movies at hand, if and when the time comes for the same, he might join the team. Check out the video.
