The in-ear wearable automatically tracks changes in heart rate, blood pressure trend, and blood flow when users stand up.
Digital health startup STAT Health has unveiled a groundbreaking wearable device called the STAT, designed to provide valuable insights to individuals experiencing symptoms such as dizziness, fainting, and brain fog.
The in-ear wearable monitors blood flow to the head, automatically tracking changes in heart rate, blood pressure trend, and blood flow when users stand up. This information will prove beneficial for patients suffering from conditions like long Covid and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) who commonly experience dizziness and fainting.
Users can conveniently track their metrics and gain insights into how their lifestyle choices impact their symptoms with the companion phone app. Notably, the STAT earpiece has demonstrated the ability to predict fainting episodes minutes before they occur, as evidenced by peer-reviewed findings published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology earlier this year.
