iPhone 15 Pro to Mac Pro: 6 most anticipated Apple products launching in 2023

From iPhone 15 Pro to most powerful Mac — Here are the most anticipated Apple products launching in 2023.

While Apple is mostly known for its iPhones, iPads, and Macs, the company also makes a slew of other products such as the Apple Watch, AirPods, Apple TV, and HomePod. In the coming days, the company is expected to further expand its portfolio by launching products like the VR headset, new and improved iMac, and the company is even speculated to announce its first ultra smartphone — the iPhone 15 Ultra.

Here are the most anticipated products that Apple will launch in 2023:

Apple iPhone 15 series

Apple’s iPhone 15 series may have at least four models or as many as five devices. Considering the current lineup, the iPhone 15 series is likely to have the baseline iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus along with the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, some reports also suggest that Apple could replace the iPhone 15 Pro Max with the iPhone 15 Ultra while others say that may not be the case.

In terms of features and capabilities, all iPhone 15 variants will have the new Dynamic Island. However, the entry-level iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus will continue to feature a 60Hz panel, powered by the A16 Bionic processor. And, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max/Ultra will have a 120Hz display and will feature Apple’s A17 processor, fabbed using TSMC’s 3nm process.

Besides, all four variants of the iPhone 15 are likely to get a 48MP primary camera with a slightly tweaked design, featuring a curved frame. On top of that, the iPhone 15 Pro variants may also feature a titanium frame, again, another first phone for an iPhone along with a periscope zoom lens.

The iPhone 15 series is likely to launch in October 2023, where, the base model could cost around Rs 80,000 in India.

Apple Watch Series 8

While Apple might not announce a successor to the Apple Watch Ultra, the company is likely to unveil the Apple Watch Series 8 along with the iPhone 15 series in October. The Apple Watch Series 8 is likely to get a design overhaul, along with a new processor, and is it also likely to pack new fitness-centric features, similar to the Apple Watch Ultra.

15-inch MacBook Air

Apple is likely to announce its very first 15-inch MacBook Air, probably at the upcoming WWDC 2023 developers conference. While the overall design and aesthetics of the 15-inch MacBook Air are likely to remain identical to that of the M2-MacBook Air, the 15-inch MacBook Air may be powered by the Apple Silicon M3 and it is also speculated to deliver better battery life than the 13-inch MacBook Air.

Just like the current MacBook Air, the upcoming variant is also speculated to be available in multiple colour options. And, this could also be one of the first 15-inch mainstream laptops with a passive cooling solution.

Apple AR/VR headset

Apple is speculated to announce its first VR headset — RealityPro with rOS in 2023. This is said to be a standalone device and is likely to pack two high-resolution OLED screens. In terms of capabilities, the Reality Pro is likely to deliver both augmented and virtual reality experiences at the same time. In terms of pricing, the Apple RealityPro AR/VR headset could be on the expensive side.

Mac Pro with M2 Ultra

Apple is rapidly transitioning from Intel processors to Apple Silicon in the Mac lineup, and the only remaining product to get the in-house processor is the Mac Pro. It is now being reported that Apple will announce its very first Mac Pro, powered by an M2 Ultra processor with up to 24 CPU cores and 76 GPU cores. Unlike other Apple Silicon products, the company is likely to support external storage expansion on the upcoming Mac Pro.

New iMac with upgraded specs

Apple is also likely to announce an upgraded iMac this year, possibly powered by the M2/M3 processor. Again, the overall design of the iMac will be similar to that of the current model and performance will be the main difference between the two.
