Director Nelson Dilipkumar has directed Vijay in Beast. The film stars Pooja Hegde opposite Vijay while Selvaragavan, VTV Ganesh and Yogi Babu amongst others will be seen in prominent roles. Anirudh composes the music and Manoj Paramahamsa handles the cinematography.
Manoj Paramahamsa has got the latest advanced camera equipment to shoot Beast. The cinematographer got his hands-on ‘RED – Komodo 6K’ with new tiltamax rigs to shoot action scenes. The team has got the ‘RED V-Raptor’ camera to shoot the movie. Beast is the first film in India to use the Red Raptor that captures at 8K resolution in 120 fps, 150 fps and 4K resolution in 300 fps & 240 fps.
The film was shot in Georgia, Delhi and Chennai. During the filming of this movie, Vijay met former Indian cricketer Dhoni. It is noteworthy that the posters and songs of this film have already been released and have been well received.
Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala has reportedly bought the rights to the Hindi remake of Beast. He is one of the biggest producers in Hindi cinema under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
The makers have announced that the trailer for Beast will be released on April 2 at 6 p.m. This was announced by Sun Pictures through an exclusive poster video.
