Kochi: The teaser of the new movie starring Mammootty – Ramya Pandian has been released.
Lijo Jose Pellissery is one of the most prominent young directors in Malayalam cinema. His previous films Amen, Angamaly Diaries, Ee.Ma.Yau and Jallikattu were well received by fans and critics worldwide. In particular, Jallikattu was nominated for the 93rd Oscar on behalf of India.
Lijo is directing a new film titled Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam in two languages, Tamil and Malayalam. The film is produced by Mammootty’s Mammoottykampany Films Pvt Ltd in association with Amen Movie Monastery.
S. Harish will write the screenplay for the film and ‘Karnan’ fame cinematographer Theni Eeswar will be cranking the camera for the film. Theni Eeswar has already worked with Mammootty.
The shooting of this film started in Velankanni and ended in Palani in a single phase. The teaser of this film has been released and must admit, Mammootty looks totally unrecognisable in the video.
