XRP Climbs 10% As Investors Gain Confidence

XR was trading at $0.89227 by 11:47 (16:47 GMT) on the Index on Wednesday, up 10.02% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since February 7.

The move upwards pushed XRP’s market cap up to $42.43629B, or 2.57% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, XRP’s market cap was $83.44071B.

XRP had traded in a range of $0.84430 to $0.90302 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, XRP has seen a rise in value, as it gained 46.54%. The volume of XRP traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $4.18994B or 4.45% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $0.5894 to $0.9126 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, XRP is still down 72.88% from its all-time high of $3.29 set on January 4, 2018.

Ethereum was trading at $3,199.30 on the Index, a gain of 5.13%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $832.41224B or 50.40% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Ethereum’s market cap totaled $381.21587B or 23.08% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
