Apple is testing its own generative AI chatbot internally, but it’s not ready for prime time yet.
Apple is exploring how to leverage generative AI across its organisation. According to a Bloomberg newsletter, the company has an internal chatbot that enables employees to test upcoming features, summarise text, and respond to queries based on the data it has learned from.
Another report last week revealed that Apple was building its own artificial intelligence large language models in-house. However, it was unclear how Apple would integrate these LLMs into its products. Now it seems that the company is using them internally.
One potential use case is providing the tool to its AppleCare support staff to assist customers better.
