Vikram starrer directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Kamal Haasan is gearing up for its release.
Lokesh Kanagaraj made his directorial debut in Tamil cinema with the film Maanagaram. Following this, he directed Kaithi with Karthi and then Master that featured actor Vijay. Following this, Lokesh Kanagaraj has helmed ‘Vikram’ starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Apart from Ulaganayagan, the film also stars actors Vijay Sethupathi and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil. Kalidas Jayaram will be seen as Kamal Haasan’s son.
Vijay Sethupathi is paired opposite Shivani Narayanan and Myna Nandini. Produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, the first look poster was recently released and has attracted fans from all walks of life.
Girish Gangadharan, who won the National Award for Malayalam film ‘Jallikkattu’, will be handling the cinematography for Vikram. Anirudh will be seen composing the music. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights to Vikram’s film.
Filming of ‘Vikram’ officially started in Chennai a few months ago. This was followed by the first phase of shooting in Karaikudi. The second phase of the film was shot in Pondicherry, Coimbatore. The final phase of filming took place in Chennai. The final shoot, which began last December, ended on (02.03.2022).
Vikram will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on June 3. Now, here comes the big announcement – AP International, a leading distributor, has acquired the entire overseas rights of Vikram at a record price. This was announced by the film production company.
