Director Vignesh Shivan – Nayanthara – Vijay Sethupathi’s combination have teamed up for the second time after the success of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
The anticipation is high as Samantha has joined them in this film. Produced by Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studios, the film is composed by Anirudh. Cinematography is by Vijay Karthik Kannan. The film is set to release on April 28. Red Giant Movies is releasing this film in Tamil Nadu.
In this film, Samantha plays the role of Khatija. Nayanthara plays the role of Kanmani. Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of Rambo. Looking at the posters and teaser released so far, it has been speculated that the story may have been set as if Vijay Sethupathi was in love with both of them. The crew recently announced the completion of filming for the film.
The next song of the film, Dippam Dappam, has now been released. The song features Samantha and her boyfriend, former cricketer Sreesanth. Vijay Sethupathi, who is seen as a bouncer. Going by the song,VJS is seen yearning for Samantha’s look and sings with that feel. The song is penned by Vignesh Shivan and is crooned by Anthony Daasan & Anirudh Ravichander. The song has crossed 2 million views since its release.
It has been revealed that Sreesanth plays Samantha’s boyfriend in this song. It has already been rumored that Sreesanth will play the character of Mohammad Mobi in the film, but it seems that Sreesanth will play Samantha’s boyfriend.
