Popular actor famous for his villainous roles has joined the movie Vadivasal. Vetrimaran, a director who is good at filming novels in Tamil cinema, will be directing the screenplay for his next film Vaadivaasal, inspired from a novel of the same name written by C.S. Chellappa.
Prior to this, Vetrimaran directed “Asuran” and “Visaranai” and the current release “Viduthalai” is based on novels and short stories. Director Vetrimaran is directing ‘Viduthalai’, a collaboration with actor Soori following the films ‘Asuran’ and ‘Paava Kadhaigal’.
The title look of the movie “Vadivasal” produced by Kalaipuli Thanu, starring Surya and directed by Vetrimaran for the first time, was released a few days back and received a unanimous response from fans since its release.
Composer GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for the film Vadivasal. Cinematographer Velraj does the cinematography. As the preliminary work of the film is in progress, actor Karunas has joined as an assistant director in the film Vadivasal directed by Vetrimaran.
The preview shooting of the movie Vaadivaasal is taking place on the East Coast Road in Chennai. Keezhappatti village near Usilampatti Muthalaikulam in Madurai district is setting up a Maasi Kalari Maha Sivaratri festival set and filming jallikkattu scenes
Actor Tamizh who played the antagonist in Jai Bheem, has now been roped in as a part of Suriya’s Vaadi Vaasal. Apparently, he revealed about the same on his social media platform. It is interesting to note that he has worked as Vetrimaran’s assistant.
