Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 3.03%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 0.31% or 450 points to trade at 144950 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) fell 0.13% or 4 points to end at 3165 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 1.23% or 700 points to 56050 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which fell 6.07% or 2340 points to trade at 36200 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 5.50% or 13390 points to end at 230010 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 5.29% or 610 points to 10920.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 470 to 37 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 4.51% or 4.05 to $93.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.98% or 3.64 to hit $95.05 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.25% or 23.00 to trade at $1860.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.59% to 3.2464, while EUR/ILS fell 0.07% to 3.6850.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 96.047.
